LOCAL PARAGRAPHS
	Mrs. John Markin, aged 70 years, died last Thursday night, at her home 
on Scrub Ridge, her death resulting from a complication of diseases.  The 
deceased is survived by a husband  and five children.  The funeral was held 
Saturday, services being conducted by Rev. B. F. Yelton, at the Evergreen 
Baptist church, of which congregation the deceased was a member.  Burial in 
the church cemetery.
