Simpson Jones, a former resident of Perry township, Wood County, died at
Fostoria last Friday night after 11 years of suffering from paralysis. His
funeral takes place today. Simpson Jones came to Wood county in 1832 and moved
to Fostoria in 1870. He was nearly 75 years old and a brother of J.V. Jones of
that city and William Jones of Perry.
